CSI:Miami star Eva La Rue Cocktail Party with Browns Jewellers

Glamorous events always have the finest champagne and the best behaved celebs who don’t hog our lensman Eddie like their have never seen him before. Well, that was the case at the US CSI Miami star Eva Le Rue’s cocktail party held at the Raphael Hotel in Sandton on Thursday evening where Browns jewellers also showed off their latest ranges of jewellery.
Security was tight because of the jewellery but A-list celebs like Edith Venter, Isidingo actress Hlubi Mboya and 5FM DJ Elana Afrika were there with their men by their sides looking glam in black short numbers.
The food was divine and little servings of veggie stir-fry, chicken strips, beef, salad and sushi served to tickle the palate just before sipping on the champagne. Other people invited were singer Zonke and model Mirriam Ngomani who was also showed off Browns’ jewellery for the guests.
It was a small intimate gathering where people could be photographed with the star, talk to her and mingle with other guests while watching the view of Nelson Mandela Square on the balcony. She giggled when I met her – guess that’s her way of being friendly. Telephone numbers were exchanged, people were happy and which made it a very beautiful night that left me wanting more.
